So it begins

Ok before I decided to create this blog space I had to ask myself a few questions:

Who am I?

Well I'm the mother of two young daughters (aged 6 and 3); a wife (three months and counting); eldest daughter to two fab parents; sister; granddaughter; great granddaughter and niece.  In addition to this I am an ex chef and youth & community manager; forward thinking; body cream making; Zumba loving; just starting out entrepreneur with a passion for food.

What's important to me?

Family, friends and (this is really important) me time.

Food has always been a huge part of my family's lives, the tradition of cooking and baking has been handed down from one generation to the next. If there was/is a family member who can't cook then it will have been kept very quiet.

My earliest memories are of my Nan & Granddad always cooking up a storm. My granddad made (and still does) the best breakfasts ever and his fried chicken is legendary. My Nan's Caribbean cake was famous amongst the Caribbean community in Fulham and she was always baking wedding and christening cakes. I still have fond memories of licking the mixing bowl Mmmmmm.

My mum makes the best roast dinner in town and her curry goat is amazing. She has also invented a green seasoning which enhances all of her cooking.

So long story short I come from a family of fantastic chefs and cooks which has inspired my mum and I to go into business together.

What do I want ? Fame,  fortune, an easy life?

Fame - Well I can do without that far too many reasons to list now

Fortune - Yes I would like to be abe to provide a comfortable life for my family.

An easy life - Nah that is not me and I can now embrace the fact that life is full of challenges which you either overcome or not, learn from or have to repeat the same challenge until you do and that is what makes life so interesting!

So here we are at the start of the journey.........
